Stratford Station is on National Rail, London Underground and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) lines.
It is served by the Underground Central and Jubilee lines, and by London Overground, National Express East Anglia and c2c. It is in Travelcard Zone 3. National Rail refer to it as "Stratford (London)" (to distinguish it from Stratford-on-Avon).

For the Future:
The Stratford International Station (under construction) is 400 yards away and is part of the High Speed 1 link with St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International and will be a London stop for Eurostar Trains.
The station will be used for domestic high-speed services to be operated by Southeastern. During the 2012 Summer Olympics it will serve Stratford's Olympic Park. In particular, the Olympic Javelin trains will take passengers from St. Pancras in Central London and from Ebbsfleet International to the Olympic facilities around Stratford International station

The M25 and motorway network can be accessed either North of the Thames or via the Blackwall Tunnel South of the Thames.
